Performance & Educational Info
String Daze is part of the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission (KCAIC) “Touring Artist Roster,” which supplies partial funding for select performances.
Public Performance: Fiddle music from around the world. Repertoire includes tangos, music from Brazil and Paraguay, modern fiddle music, Hungarian folk, classics like Romanian Folk Dances and Czardas–and hot club jazz. Program Fee: $1200, plus mileage fee.
Educational Activity: Interactive, educational concert for all ages; masterclasses in violin, cello, guitar, bass and percussion; workshops on poetry and improvisation. Additional Activity Fee: $240 for a single additional educational activity on the same day.
Community Activity: Q&A with the musicians and interactive concert editions can be arranged for retirement homes, community spaces, children, universities, etc.
